Introductions

Hi! My Name is Jessie and I started this blog today while I was sitting here deciding how to avoid doing the other things I know I need to do.
This is my cat Alice who sometimes eats strange things but as far as I know has never actually eaten a 5. This blog is not about her or any other cat - I really just needed a title for my blog that would not tie me to any one subject. So my blog title, like me, is mostly harmless and makes little sense.

This way I can write about beadwork one day, or the antics of being a woman working in a home improvement warehouse the next, or just tell you about the wonderful things I ate for dinner because I know that it was so delicious you will all want to hear about it.

  2. Did Alice at least give you change for your five? (ew)

I'm making beans and rice for dinner. Tuesday night is beans and rice night. Any kind of bean.....any kind of rice.

  3. Thank you Callie!

Risa - As a matter of fact Alice did the other day right in the middle of the floor! I am so glad the weather is nice enough for her to get out of the house every now and then.

Rice and beans sounds good to me!

  5. Thank you Jacquie. I am a bit worried I will run out of things to say after the first few but for now it is lots of fun.

  7. Thank you all for following and for your nice words!

The mask is one of my favorites - the idea came from a workshop I took with Don Pierce on bead looming where he showed us a self portrait he made.

  8. Yeah Congrats on starting your blog.
lol I haven't gotten up the nerve yet to start a blog, because I am terrible with computers.
I am wondering if you have ever tried FireLine and Thread Heaven, I WAS a die hard user of Nymo and beeswax and now I can't stand either one. If you haven't then you should give them a try. By the way, I just found out that you can buy FireLine at Bass Pro shops for double the amount at half the price as what bead stores carry. Anyway Congrats!

  9. Thanks for the tip! I have some FireLine that I still have not tried but plan to. I have actually fallen in love with c-lon thread but never hear anything about it from other beaders so I fear I must be the only one. I just love for the color of the thread to effect the color of the glass beads and c-lon has a wonderful selection of colors.

If you do want too start a blog, Google makes it super easy and you can always ask questions!
