Beaded Failures

Well, you bead some and then you wish you had not beaded some.

Coming off a high after beading a super awesome cuff that I couldn't be happier with...

...I dive into the next project, seemingly invincible and ever prolific, and I end up with this.

This is supposed to be an orange jeweled key not an orange ice cream cone. Sometimes when I weave things I continue to add to them and they just get better. The goofier this key looked to me the more I added with the secure feeling that it would eventually only look better. No such luck. Even after this fail I still desperately want to make an orange jeweled key so, I have done what any reasonable person would  do. I purchased 12(!) skeleton keys with lovely open tops that beads can weave through so that one of them can become my orange jeweled key. The rest? Well, I guess I will just have to become inspired.

    1. Thank you Megan. Yep, bead and learn. I usually don't make it to the end of a failed project but I was determined on this one. :)
